LABORATORIOS ERN has a clear vocation as a manufacturer, which is why it manufactures most of the own products in its facilities, and although this is not its core business, it also manufactures products for third parties.
During the last few years, LABORATORIOS ERN has invested in facilities and machinery to obtain better quality, better performance in its productions and to be able to offer, if necessary, surplus production capacity to its customers. LABORATORIOS ERN has two manufacturing facilities, in Barberà del Vallès and Barcelona, as well as a storage and distribution centre in Sant Andreu de la Barca.
Barberà del Vallès site
Located in the Can Salvatella industrial zone, the Barberà del Vallès site has a surface area of 7,776 m2 used mainly for the production of medicines: 9 million units a year. The facility produces: hard gelatin capsules, tablets, effervescent tablets, sachets, powders, solutions, suspensions, creams, gels, and aerosols.
The plant is NCF and IS0 16485 certified, the latter for the manufacture of medical devices.
In 2021, the expansion of the facility to a total of 14,750 m2 for the production of medicines will begin.
Barcelona’s site
Located in Calle Perú 228, Barcelona, with 3,600 m2 dedicated to the production of food supplements, mainly in single-dose liquid form, presented in vials and double-ended ampoules.
Sant Andreu de la Barca logistics centre
Located in the Can Sellarès industrial estate, the logistics centre stores and distributes its products as well as products from other companies. Authorized with NCD and NCF certification for secondary packaging, including versatile serialization equipment and with a surface area of 12,000 m2, it has 6,900 locations, with an annual dispatch of twenty million units.
